Painting Alloys

Nice to see you reading again,

Since we had this small accident at the beginning of the week and the wheel is gone to repair, its a good time to finally start painting wheels.

This is how the alloys looked like before the job was done 

There was no much of the damaged on the wheels, so I only sandpaper them with grade 500 to the original primer. 

Then applied 5 coats of paint. This is a final result. 

I am still waiting for the last wheel to be back from repairs so please keep an eye on this post for the final pictures. 

I am very happy with the final touch and the difference so fair.  Hopefully it will stay on wheels for a good amount of time. 

Yesterday I picked up the wheel from repairs and I must say it looks great. The air is not leaking anymore. Just in case I have mounted at the back axel as there is less weight. 

Thats how she looks now. 

I am very happy with the final appearance of the wheels.
